TAD JACOBS

Tad Jacobs (b. January 12, 1973) is an artist, designer and musician from Bernardsville, NJ. After graduating with a degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University, he headed west where he met his mentor Eddie Sotto, formerly the Senior Vice President of Concept Design for Walt Disney Imagineering. Together they formed Progress City, a design agency focused on experiential design, specifically where Architecture, Wireless Technology and the Internet converge. Their client list included Kodak, BBDO, NASA and the Walt Disney Company.

As a musician, Tad has performed in venues across the country as a solo artist and as a member of the band National Anthem.

Astral Plane, a kinetic sculpture installation, was an idea that had been percolating ever since Tad stumbled upon the Calder Exhibit in Paris in early 2018 and was conceptualized and created during the pandemic.

Tad owns and runs a design business focusing on branding and packaging. He lives in Topanga, CA.
